Introduction

Serum ferritin is often used as an indicator of iron deficnecy. This multicenter, randomized, blinded controlled trial compares serum ferritin and transferrin saturation to reticulocyte hemoglobin content (CHr) in order to monitor iron status and guide iron management in hemodialysis patients.
