Earlier this month, leading experts gathered in Vienna, Austria, to discuss the latest developments in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at the annual congress of the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO).

Iron deficiency played a significant role on the agenda, reflecting the expanding interest and research in this indication and the recognition of the impact of iron deficiency on IBD.
